Don’t Miss Another Social Media Post

Notifications are the easiest way to stay in touch with your favorite blogs and social media pages. We frequently post course updates, promotions, and important program information on this blog and our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages.

We’ll show you how to adjust your settings so you don’t miss out on fun reward opportunities or continuing education updates.

I. FACEBOOK

From a DESKTOP computer:

  1. Go to Water Otter’s Facebook Page.
  2. Click the “Liked” button.
  3. Choose “Notifications”.
  4. Select “All posts”.
  5. Select “Live video” to get a notification when we live stream on Facebook.
  6. Click on “Posts in News Feed” on the left side of the window.
  7. Choose “See first”.

From the FACEBOOK app:

  1. Go to Water Otter’s Facebook Page
  2. Click on “Following”.
  3. Select “See first”.

You can’t set up notifications on the app BUT by clicking, “see first” you can enable page content to show up as a priority in your news feed. To receive notifications, follow the instructions from a desktop computer OR use your mobile browser and navigate to the the mobile website version of Facebook. (Refer to the next list of instructions.)

To set notifications on FACEBOOK mobile site:

  1. Go to Water Otter’s Facebook Page.
  2. Click on the 3 dots above “More”.
  3. Select all the notification types.

II. Twitter (notifications only applicable to mobile)

From a DESKTOP computer:

  1. Go to Water Otter’s Twitter page.
  2. Click the “Follow” button.
  3. Click the settings (gear icon) to the left of it.
  4. Select “Turn on mobile notifications”.

From the TWITTER app:

  1. Go to Water Otter’s Twitter page.
  2. Click the “Follow” button.
  3. Click the settings (gear icon) to the left of it.
  4. Select “Turn on notifications”.

LinkedIn does not currently offer page notifications BUT you can view posts from us in your newsfeed by clicking “Follow” on Water Otter’s LinkedIn page.

II. Blog

On a WordPress blog, you can click the “Follow” button in the bottom righthand corner OR on our blog you can scroll down to the footer section and enter your email address for updates in your inbox!
